I started my photographic journey in 1995 in Los Angeles and have made my living with a camera ever since. My fine art work originally came to be while on paid assignments, for completely unrelated these work assignments.  What began as happy discovery  has now become a lifetime pursuit. 

While I don't believe photography is inherently art, I do believe that great art can exist in any form of expression... including a photograph.

Inspiration

Inspiration for me comes in many forms. Simple shapes with graduating tones, beautiful music, literature and of course from God from whom all creativity was originally authored.

Techniques

Whether color or black & white, film or digital, habited (people in the picture) or uninhabited, I have one rule I live by. 

My works are true photographs, no digitally created elements and no blending of multiple pictures other than perhaps focus stacking and/or multiple exposures. This approach keeps me truly in love with my craft and ensures the integrity of my art.
